Last week, Brynne said she wanted to play Blue's Clues. I traced her hand and cut them out, sent her to her room, and taped the handprints to three clues.
Water |
Puppy |
Drink |
She used a small spiral notebook and pen, found the clues, and drew them in her "handy dandy notebook".
Then she put the clues together to try to figure out what I needed her to do for me.
The water cup threw her off. It was meant to signify "drink", but all she could think of was "cup".
But after going through a few different possible scenarios, she realized that I needed for her to fill the dogs' water bowl so they could get a drink.
What a fun way to practice problem solving skills.
